— Supporters Can Vote Early . . . and Often
UnitedCoR is pleased to announce that its billboard “Don’t Believe in God? Join the Club” has been nominated by About.com Readers as a favorite Agnostic/Atheist Ad of 2011, making it one of four finalists for Favorite Ad in the 2012 About.com Reader’s Choice Awards.
Voting to determine the winner runs from today, February 22, through March 21, and voters are allowed to vote once per day during that time. There is no prize for winning except a graphic “Winner” badge for posting on coalition websites and the knowledge that this billboard ad was considered best by About.com Readers.
"So, if you like our ad," said Fred Edwords, UnitedCoR’s national director, "spread the word to your friends, family, and Internet contacts. Encourage them to get their daily exercise by exercising their right to vote daily!"
The voting page is here: http://atheism.about.com/b/2012/02/22/favorite-agnostic-atheist-ad-of-2011.htm.
More information can be found here: http://atheism.about.com/od/ReadersChoiceAwards/tp/Readers-Choice-Awards-Agnosticism-Atheism.htm.
Winners will be announced on March 30, 2012.
Please note: Voters are required to give their email address OR be logged-in to Facebook or About.com before casting their votes. This is a new requirement added since last year to ensure a fair contest for all the finalists. Email addresses aren’t shared, they are just needed to prevent fraud.
