Secular Statehouse Displays 2015

Secular groups respond to the yearly appearance of a Christmas tree, a Chanukka menorah (Chanukkia), and a proliferation of nativity scenes at the Rhode Island Statehouse.

The Rhode Island Humanist Book Club display features the Roger Williams quote, “God needeth not the help of a material sword of steel to assist the sword of the spirit in the affairs of conscience.”
