Secular group holds rally outside Capitol

By Joel Ebert, Capital Journal | Two days after lawmakers unanimously passed a resolution recognizing the anniversary of the addition of “under God” to the pledge of allegiance, a group of South Dakotans held a small rally outside the Capitol in support of secular values.

Promoting secular government, the South Dakota Coalition of Reason held up signs directed at passing cars, while standing in front of the statue of former Gov. Bill Janklow outside the state house. (View Full Article)
