Picture Perfect! 2018 Downloadable Calendar

by Susann
Education Officer and National Coordinator

For those of you who’ve been reading our newsletters the past few years, it’s around this time of the year that UnitedCoR puts out a call for photographs and dates of special events that are coming up in the following year. Our free, downloadable calendars are designed to help you plan secular-friendly, local events around important dates such Religious Freedom Day, Thomas Payne Day, International Darwin Day, World Poetry Day, International Women’s Day, Thomas Jefferson’s birthday, “Ask an Atheist” Day, National Day of Reason, World Humanist Day, Banned Books Week, Carl Sagan’s birthday, Human Rights’ Day, Human Light, Roger Williams’ birthday and many other memorable and noteworthy occasions.

As we’re putting the final pieces together for the 2018 calendar, we need your help! Please email us with photographs of your groups for the calendar, and let us know any important dates for your events in 2018. We’ll be certain to include the event dates in the downloadable calendar, on our social media feeds (Facebook and Twitter), on our web-based calendar, and of course in our global calendar of events.

Just to give you an idea of the kinds of photographs we’re looking for, have a look at some of the highlights of 2017, and let’s celebrate the achievements that atheist, humanist, secular, freethinker and skeptic folks have done for their local communities, and helped to lead the way for non-believers around the world. Please make sure to send them to us by December 31!
