JT Eberhard to speak at HCCO Winter Solstice Banquet Saturday, 12/8/2012, 12:00 PM

Eberhard is the author of the Popular blog What Would JT Do? as well as the co-founder of the Skepticon conference. He is well known in the Freethought community for his activism on atheism and LGBT equality.

JT joined the Secular Student Alliance (SSA) as the first High School specialist. During his time with SSA, JT built a program specifically tailored for teenage activists and increased the number of high school affiliations by 400%. In 2012, JT left SSA, but remains a member of their Speakers Bureau. Now he writes and tours the country full time continuing his work with the secular community.

At [the Humanist Community of Central Ohio (HCCO)] Winter Solstice Banquet, JT will be speaking about his experience in the Freethought Community and its impact on his personal journey. He will also reflect on positive aspects of the movement and goals we can reach for in the future. JT, a professionally trained opera singer, will be signing a surprise song voted on by everyone.
