A celebrant is someone who are certified to officiate services or ceremonies, such as secular weddings, funerals, or namegivings. We will be expanding this list of Houston celebrants in the coming months, so that you may find a qualified celebrant for your ceremony.

Daniel Strain is a Humanist minister and secular celebrant, certified by the American Humanist Association. He has performed many secular wedding and funeral services for people with a variety of beliefs. He is a founder of the Houston Freethought Alliance, former Humanists of Houston president, and founded The Humanist Contemplative group in Houston, which inspired a group of the same name and focus at Harvard.
