Americans United – Ohio Chapter

Facebook: facebook.com/AUOhio

Meets monthly to discuss statewide concerns and plans. The group meets as a council, as opposed to a board, and works together in decisions and outcomes. The Ohio Chapter is part of the national Americans United for Separation of Church and State organization (Americans United or AU) founded in 1947 by a broad coalition of religious, educational and civic leaders. The national organization represents members and supporters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. We come from different religious, political and philosophical viewpoints, but we share a common commitment to church-state separation and individual freedom. We are a nonpartisan educational organization dedicated to preserving the constitutional principle of church-state separation as the only way to ensure religious freedom for all Americans.
