It’s remarkable how many activities are happening in Columbus CoR. Perhaps it’s because they have 16 member groups! Congratulate them and think about what’s working that you might try in your own city.
A Flying Spaghetti Monster dinner fundraiser brought them closer to Unitarians in an article written by Gleb Tsipursky of The Secular Spectrum that also highlights UnitedCoR’s leukemia walk-a-thon, and their blood drive that was featured in The Columbus Dispatch.
On a recent Columbus CoR blog post you can also find a new secular scouting group, lectures about astronomy and the Middle East, their work with the Ronald McDonald House and a homeless shelter, and their upcoming picnic and trek out to the Reason Rally in Washington, DC.
