The Central New York Coalition of Reason is made up of atheist, freethought and humanist groups in Syracuse and throughout the greater Central New York region. Our goals are to foster secular community and raise awareness that these groups are available.

This is a casual meetup group of like-minded people who are looking for interesting conversation. Monthly they get together for drinks on the second Wednesday of the month and brunch on the last Sunday of the month.

The Central New York Humanist Association is a non-profit organization that provides education, support, and community service opportunities for local atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers, and those who are just not “wired for religion”. This group is intended to rally all in the Syracuse University / SUNY ESF community who are atheists/agnostics/skeptics, in support of skeptical inquiry and atheist discourse.
We’re an advocacy group for freethinker members of the Syracuse University / SUNY ESF Community, as well as general secularism and freethought. Our mission is to engage with people of different opinions to foster debate and articulate criticism of the predominant religious themes impacting all members of the community. We are open to all students, faculty, staff and Syracuse area community members.
