As part of an ongoing Adopt-a-Highway project, the Atheists of Butte County were out again this past Sunday doing their part to maintain our beautiful environment.
Atheists of Butte County were granted a permit by CalTrans last year and have committed to be out cleaning up their two mile section of Highway 99 every month throughout the year.

The vision of America’s founders was to prevent religion from gaining special influence over public policy has become blurred and is in desperate need of refocusing. As rational patriots committed to a more just and compassionate society, Atheists of Butte County believe we have a responsibility to help refocus that vision.
