Atheist Community of Tulsa food and blood drive success

The Atheist Community of Tulsa (ACT) has acted. ACT sponsored a food and blood drive on Thursday, May 5, 2011 to honor the National Day of Reason.

This growing community of Tulsa Atheists, Agnostics, Humanists, and Freethinkers has and is making a positive impact in the Tulsa area.

Several pounds of food was donated by members and collected by ACT. The food will be donated to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Blood Institute parked a blood mobile in the parking lot at the Church of the Restoration, located at 1314 N Greenwood Ave, and collected blood donated by several members of ACT.
