By Autism Speaks | On a beautiful Saturday morning 1,000 participants from South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska gathered at Augustana College for the 5th annual South Dakota Walk Now for Autism Speaks.
It was quite windy, but that did not stop teams from enjoying the amazing atmosphere. The day began with great excitement from adults and children meeting other families in the community, visiting the resource fair, and enjoying the sounds of a local mariachi band. There were two particular new teams that deserve a round of applause — Siouxland Freethinkers and Team Carter who have each raised over $10,000 so far!
