An Evening with Mikey Weinstein—Lecture and Book Signing

Friday, March 2nd at CU Boulder. Civil Rights Activist and Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) Founder and President, MICHAEL L. "MIKEY" WEINSTEIN, presents and signs NO SNOWFLAKE IN AN AVALANCHE: The Military Religious Freedom Foundation, Its Battle To Defend The Constitution, And One Family's Courageous War Against Religious Extremism in High Places.

Sponsored by the Boulder Atheists and Secular Students and Skeptics Society at CU.

Mikey Weinstein is the undisputed leader of the national movement to restore the obliterated wall separating church and state in the most technologically lethal organization ever created by humankind: The United States Armed Forces. Described by Harper's magazine as the "constitutional conscience of the military, a man determined to force accountability," Mikey's family has a long and distinguished U.S. military history spanning three consecutive generations of military academy graduates and over 130 years of combined active duty military service in every major combat engagement our country has been in from World War I to the current Global War on Terror. MRFF currently represents more than 27,000 active duty United States marines, sailors, soldiers, airman, military academy/ROTC cadets and midshipmen and veterans who are victims of severe religious persecution perpetrated by fundamentalist Christians. Amazingly, about 96% of MRFF's clients are actually Christians themselves. MRFF has received four Nobel Peace Prize nominations in the last three years (2010-2012).
