Americans United 10th Aniversary

Barry Lynn, the Executive Director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, will be speaking in Greenville and Spartanburg Feb 16 an 17.  Feb 16 is also the 10th anniversary of the Greenville Chapter.

Spartanburg group marches for atheism downtown

A new atheist activist group called "Push Back the Darkness" held a very visible march downtown Spartanburg Saturday afternoon holding signs like "Good without God" "Don't believe in God? You are not alone" and "Religion NO! Logic & Reason YES". Eleven brave souls marched for over two hours making a very visible stand against religion.

Upstate SC CoR Picnic at the Zoo!

All of the Upstate SC humanist/secular/atheist/freethought groups are invited to the first ever secular SC picnic, Sunday Aug 25!  11AM will be an optional group trip to the zoo ($7.75/adult, $4.50 child (3-15)) and the picnic (no charge!) will start at 1pm.   

Come meet all the like-minded folk in the Upstate area, bring the kids, food, and have a great time!
