Zac Bos, American Atheists organizer for Massachusetts, has started a new Meetup group.  The purpose of this group is to bring together the many kinds of Massachusetts freethinkers -- Atheists, Humanists, Ethical Culturists, Brights, agnostics, and so on -- for common social, educational, and civic purposes.

The number of people who identify themselves as non-believers has doubled in the last two decades. WHDH: Atheist group releases ad campaign on Boston subways

BOSTON -- A controversial new ad campaign hitting "The Hub" is encouraging people to "stop believing."

Ads promoting atheism are showing up on many Boston MBTA trains and some commuters are wondering if they go too far.

"It's not my viewpoint but it sounds like it's the viewpoint of others," said one man.
