The Kentucky Association of Science Educators and Skeptics
The Kentucky Association of Science Educators and Skeptics is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting science education and critical thinking in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Founded in 1989 by CSICOP (now CSI -- Committee for Skeptical Inquiry) Fellows Robert A. Baker and Joe Nickell, our membership includes dozens of science professionals and educators at every educational level, as well as engineers, attorneys, medical professionals, computer science professionals, librarians, and other similarly-interested citizens.
The Lexington Atheist meetup is a group of people that meet for discourse on topics of interest to the atheist/freethought/skeptic community. Our mission is simple: Provide a community for atheists, skeptics, freethinkers in and around the Lexington area. We do this is by holding discussions, lectures, and get-togethers in order to meet others that share in our skeptical view of religion and spirituality.
